While born in a conservative area (Charlotte, NC), I was raised in a household that nurtured my creativity. However, acting was not something that I consciously picked, whereas it more so picked me. Growing up, I never imagined myself in the performing arts, I just kind of fell into it, and then passionately and irrevocably fell in love with it. Acting makes me happy, not just happy but ecstatic, it gives me a greater sense of purpose. I am excited to embark on a new piece of work that challenges the mind to look deeper. Acting allows me to participate in something greater than myself. I am a vessel for stories to flow through me. The stories I get to take part in can change the common outlook of life, forcing you to look at the world from a different perspective. What I do touches people; it makes you feel something you thought you never could, it brings joy to a saddened day, along with adding greater substance to humanity. I am the introverted girl who enjoys being around people, helping, nurturing, and learning from others. The performing arts allows me to do what I've always wanted, which is to make a difference in the world with my life.
